Pete Buttigieg: Republicans are the “Opposite” of Everything Christ Said, But Aborting Babies is Just Fine

February 22, 2020

Pete Buttigieg just can’t stop misrepresenting the Bible.

Whether it’s claiming the Bible endorses abortion on demand or implying that Christian conservatives rally shouldn’t support President Trump, Buttigieg keeps trying to pass himself off as an authority on Scripture.

Now the pro-abortion Indiana mayor is claiming that the Republican Party is diametrically opposed to everything Jesus Christ said.

As CNS News reports:

Pete Buttigieg, who is seeking the Democratic presidential nomination, said in a radio interview that the Republican Party is “dedicated to the opposite” of “every other world that comes out of the mouth of Christ.”

“You know, you go through the New Testament, for sure, and every other word that comes out of the mouth of Christ is about things like helping those in need and you got a Republican Party dedicated to its opposite,” said Buttigieg.

“There will be a reckoning,” he said.

Buttigieg made these remarks during a Sept. 6, 2019 appearance on “The Breakfast Club.”

And the Democrat presidential candidate made the same false claims he’s made previously about abortion and the Bible. As CNS News noted:

Buttigieg then argued that Republicans “hold everybody in line” with a “doctrine about abortion.” But he refuted this doctrine, saying “there’s a lot of parts of the Bible that talk about how life begins with breath”—seemingly suggesting that a baby can be aborted until it is out of the womb and breathing.

“Now right now they hold everybody in line with this one kind of piece of doctrine about abortion, right, which is obviously a tough issue for a lot of people to think through morally,” Buttigieg said.

“Then again there’s a lot of parts of the Bible that talk about how life begins with breath,” said Buttigieg.

“And so, even that is something that we can interpret differently,” he said.

His comments come even though Buttigieg’s own family is calling out his dishonesty for claiming to be a Christian who supports the killing of unborn babies up to birth.

Rhyan Glezman, a pastor and the brother-in-law of the pro-abortion presidential candidate, recently spoke with Fox News host Tucker Carlson about Buttigieg’s so-called Christian faith, the Washington Examiner reports.

“The height of intellectual dishonesty for Pete to make claims that there’s no compatibility with being a Christian and voting for Trump, which Pete, in fact, is the one who is pushing agendas and rhetoric that is clearly against Scripture,” Glezman said.

Glezman said it troubles him deeply that his brother-in-law is running for the highest office in the land, but he can’t even “make a moral decision on whether to keep a child after it’s already been born or to have it killed.”

Last week, when Buttigieg appeared on The View, he defended abortions for any reason up to birth and infanticide. View host Meghan McCain asked him about late-term abortions and cited Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam’s infamous defense of infanticide — saying that babies should be left to die if parents want that.

Buttigieg refused to condemn infanticide or Northam’s comments and dismissed that it even happens even though Centers for Disease Control statistics show that babies do survive abortions.

THE GOOD NEWS

SALVATION

Salvation is a FREE GIFT from God. SALVATION IS BY FAITH ALONE & FAITH IS BELIEVING WHAT GOD SAYS.

  1. God declares all mankind sinners and we all fall short of Glory of God. Romans 3:23
  2. The payment for our sin is death. Romans 6:23
  3. But God…because he loved you so much sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die in your place, for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later. 1 Cor 15:1-42cor 5:21

All God asks is that you believe by faith alone in 1, 2, & 3. That you’re a sinner, separated from God but God sent his Son to die for your sins, was buried & rose again 3 days later.

‘that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ‘

Romans 10:9
