Happy Mother’s Day from the Moms of SFLA!

Moms are superheroes. And so are pro-life activists! At Students for Life, we’re blessed with a lot of team members who live out both of these roles. We know that pro-life is pro-woman, and that true feminism does not include the “right” to abort our children. We’re inspired every day by our SFLA moms who work around the clock to save preborn children and their mothers from the pain of abortion – all while looking after their own little ones!

To all you moms out there, Happy Mother’s Day. You inspire us!

Our SFLA moms are honored to help others choose life by providing the resources and support they need. In honor of Mother’s Day, here are a few highlights of our awesome Students for Life mamas!

“This Mother’s Day, I am thankful for the ability to work for an organization that allows me to merge my dream of motherhood with my passion for empowering and equipping pregnant students to choose life and pursue their own dreams. Being a working mom can be tough, but I am proud to be a living example that women are strong enough to do both! Empowered women empower women to choose life. I’m also thankful for my husband who will forever be my biggest supporter. Happy Mother’s Day!”

Anna Allgaier, Pregnant on Campus Director

“Every Mother’s day, I am reminded of how precious life is and how blessed I am to be a mom while also having the career of my dreams.  I am thankful for the work of Students for Life, creating a culture where all life is valued and women are supported.”

Michele Hendrickson, Eastern Regional Director

“This Mother‘s Day, my first without my mom, I’m thankful for the four, beautiful, loud, talented people who made me a mother, and for the chance to pass on to them their heritage and traditions. Nothing that I do in this world will outweigh my opportunity to love on them and their father, and there is no way that I can repay my own mother (and father’s)  investment in me. It’s a circle of life moment, and I’m grateful for my family.”

Kristi Hamrick, Chief Media Strategist

“This Mother‘s Day, I’m thankful to be part of a team that empowers me to choose both my child and my career. I love writing and being a mom so I’m incredibly blessed to do both. This is real feminism in action!

Brenna Lewis, Online Editor

“After having Bennett, I am more motivated than ever to abolish abortion. He is a constant reminder of how precious life is. I am so grateful to work for an organization that embraces motherhood, and allows me to be an activist AND a mommy! Also, having a sidekick at events is an added bonus.”

Reagan Barklage, Western Regional Director

“I’ve been a mother of a newborn for less than two months. I have so much more admiration this year for all mothers, especially working moms! You are beautiful, talented, and strategic time-managers. Never doubt yourself! I look up to you so much and am honored to join the working moms at SFLA after maternity leave. Happy Mother’s Day!”

THE GOOD NEWS

SALVATION

Salvation is a FREE GIFT from God. SALVATION IS BY FAITH ALONE & FAITH IS BELIEVING WHAT GOD SAYS.

  1. God declares all mankind sinners and we all fall short of Glory of God. Romans 3:23
  2. The payment for our sin is death. Romans 6:23
  3. But God…because he loved you so much sent His own Son, Jesus Christ, to die in your place, for your sins, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later. 1 Cor 15:1-42cor 5:21

All God asks is that you believe by faith alone in 1, 2, & 3. That you’re a sinner, separated from God but God sent his Son to die for your sins, was buried & rose again 3 days later.

‘that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ‘

Romans 10:9
